Outdoor and environmental education experiences
take
place
in a variety of outdoor settings throughout Long Island and
New York State. Emphasis is on firsthand experiences with a multidisciplinary
approach to help students, teachers and administrators develop a
sensitivity to the environment while meeting school curriculum and state
curriculum standards. Through cooperative planning and preparation our
goal is to make the outdoor experience an extension of classroom learning.
See how our programs meet the NYS Learning Standards.
Teachers will receive resource materials adaptable to their ongoing school curriculum, directions to sites,
and other pertinent information prior to
any Outdoor & Environmental Education program.
