Youth-at-Risk & Community Partnership Programs

These programs provide comprehensive support for school district personnel involved in dropout prevention and conflict resolution. Services are provided, at no cost to the local district, through funding from the New York State Education Department.

Technical Assistance
Interested districts may seek support for program development including assistance in grant proposal identification and preparation.

Resource Development
Nassau BOCES can provide, through the Mental health Association of Nassau County and other agencies, staff development courses, faculty conferences and parent workshops tailored to the needs of the district. Topics cover parenting education and the prevention of violence, child abuse, suicide and teenage pregnancy.
