Springboard is for 16- and 19-year-old students who meet state eligibility requirements for a high school equivalency diploma. This program helps students develop basic knowledge and skills for entering the workforce or post-secondary education. Students receive 12.5 hours per week of individualized GED preparation, along with five hours per week of pre-employment skills training.
Springboard meets Monday through Friday from 11:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The program can range from five months to more than one year, depending on the student’s ability, attendance, motivation and on-task behavior.
