Nassau BOCES Culinary Institute celebrates first graduating class

This summer, the Culinary Institute presents its inaugural graduating class. The six aspiring chefs in the institute’s Class of 2015 have successfully completed a fundamental step on the path to a career in the culinary arts, having cultivated the skills necessary to work in a professional kitchen. These graduates have learned techniques for food preparation, studied local and national health codes and trained for industry exams. The Culinary Institute is offered through a partnership between Nassau BOCES Adult Career & Technical Education and Hofstra University Continuing Education.
