Carman Road School vote set for October 18 in Massapequa

Benefits of proposed sale
The Massapequa School District is holding a public vote on October 18 for permission to sell the Carman Road School, which Nassau BOCES has rented for nearly 40 years. All residents of the Massapequa School District are eligible to vote.

If the Massapequa vote is successful, Nassau BOCES will hold its own public vote in February to ask for permission to purchase the building. All Nassau County voters will be eligible to participate in the Nassau BOCES referendum.
